Hospital Visit to Satara Diagnostic Centre and Multispeciality Hospital YSPM’s Yashoda Technical Campus, Faculty of Pharmacy, organized a **hospital visit for Third Year Pharm. D students** at **Satara Diagnostic Centre and Multispeciality Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Satara**, on **23 September 2026**. The visit was coordinated by **Ms. A. V. Adsul** under the guidance of **HOD Dr. S. H. Rohane** and **Principal Dr. P. D. Jadhav**. The visit provided students with valuable **practical exposure to hospital and clinical pharmacy services** and helped them relate theoretical knowledge to real-world clinical practice. Interactive sessions were conducted by **Dr. Dattatray More (MBBS, MD)** on clinical decision-making and treatment approaches for diseases such as malaria and dengue; **Dr. Pallavi Jagadale (BHMS)** on patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment selection, and contraindications; and **Ms. Rutika, Central Pharmacist**, on the role of pharmacists in multidisciplinary healthcare teams, medication management, rational drug use, and patient safety. The visit enhanced students’ understanding of **disease management, individualized patient care, collaborative healthcare practices, and the professional responsibilities of pharmacists**. Students gained valuable insights into the patient journey from diagnosis to treatment and the importance of teamwork in ensuring safe and effective patient care.
