Inauguration of Advanced Facilities in the Pharmacy Department at Yashoda Technical Campus On the occasion of National Pharmacists Day, Yashoda Technical Campus (YTC), Satara, successfully inaugurated state-of-the-art academic and research facilities within the Pharmacy Department. The event aimed to provide students with modern technology, practical exposure, and research-oriented training. The newly launched facilities—including the Central Instrumentation Facility, Animal House, Social Pharmacy Laboratory, and Model Pharmacy—were officially inaugurated by the Chief Guests, Mr. Pravin Sonar (Plant Head, Medispray, Satara) and Mr. Sameer Kale (Plant Head, Nysa Biomed India Pvt. Ltd., Borgaon, Satara). The program was guided by Dr. Prof. Dasharath Sagare (President, YSPM), Dr. Ajinkya Sagare (Vice President), and Dr. Ganesh Survase (Registrar). Principal Dr. P. D. Jadhav, along with HODs Dr. A. M. Bhagwat, Dr. L. M. Purane, and Dr. Atish Velhal, were also present for the occasion. Key Highlights of the New Facilities: Central Instrumentation Facility: Equipped with advanced instruments to enhance practical analysis and support innovative student research. Animal House: Established to facilitate scientific studies and experiential learning in pharmacology. Social Pharmacy Lab & Model Pharmacy: Designed to train students in community pharmacy services, patient counseling, proper medicine distribution, and professional dynamics. This initiative marks a significant milestone in YTC's commitment to delivering skill-based education, encouraging research, and fostering social responsibility among pharmacy professionals.
