On the occasion of National Youth Day, an Essay Writing Competition was organized by institute to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, a great philosopher, thinker, and youth icon of India. The competition aimed to inspire students with the ideals of youth empowerment, character building, patriotism, and self-confide he theme of the competition focused on “Role of Youth in Nation Building”. Students from various classes enthusiastically participated in the competition and expressed their thoughts creatively through well-articulated essays. The program began with floral tributes and garlanding of the portrait by hands of HOD Dr. A. M. Bhagwat, followed by a brief introduction highlighting the life, values, and contributions of Swami Vivekananda by Miss. Sakshi Bhosale (T. Y. B. Pharm Student).The event witnessed active participation, reflecting the intellectual curiosity and writing skills of the students. The essays were evaluated by a panel of judges based on content relevance, clarity of thought, originality, language proficiency, and presentation. Dr. A. M. Bhagwat, Proff. Pallavi Gaikwad and Proff. Deepti Maske was appointed as Judges. Total 13 students are participated in competition. Mr. Prassanna Sabnis from second year Pharm D. got first prize. Miss. Sanika Jadhav from third year B. Pharm. got second prize. Miss. Sayee Pore from Second year Pharm. D. got third prize. The program successfully fulfilled its objective of motivating students to imbibe the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and understand the vital role of youth in shaping the future of the nation. The HOD Dr . A. M. Bhagwat and management encouraged and motivated students for the successful organization of this event. The programme significantly enhanced students bond with pharmacist and society and lifelong learning. Overall, the Essay Writing Competition was conducted smoothly by cultural In-charge Mrs. D. N. Maske and proved to be an enriching and inspiring experience for all participants.
