YSPM’s YTC Faculty of Pharmacy Organized One- Day National Conference Conference and Poster Presentation on Pharma Research Trends The Department of Pharmacy successfully organized a One-Day National Conference and Poster Presentation on “Emerging Trends in Pharmaceutical Research & Health Sciences” on 23rd August 2025. The event aimed to provide students with insights into the latest developments, research innovations, and industry practices in the pharmaceutical and health sciences sector. The program commenced with the Inaugural Session, beginning with the worship of Goddess Saraswati and an inaugural song presented by students of S.Y. M. Pharmacy, Dattakala College of Pharmacy, Bhigwan. Distinguished guests including Dr. Suresh Gosavi (Vice-Chancellor, SPPU) and Dr. Parag Kalkar (Pro-Vice-Chancellor, SPPU) graced the occasion as Chief Guests. Eminent personalities Dr. John Disouza (Principal, SYBES’s Bombay Institute of Pharmacy & Research, Mumbai) and Mr. Sarang Salunkhe (Director, 3S Analytical Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Pune) enriched the conference as resource persons. The welcome address was delivered by Ms. Namrata Durande, Programme Coordinator. The academic sessions featured special lectures by the resource persons. Dr. John Disouza enlightened the audience on emerging trends and innovations in the pharmaceutical field, while Mr. Sarang Salunkhe shared valuable insights on cutting-edge technologies, industry innovations, and the current pharmaceutical landscape. A total of 36 students from our college actively participated in this event, gaining exposure to industry-oriented knowledge and perspectives. The Poster Presentation session witnessed enthusiastic participation. Students Ms. Jedhe Shruti Lalasaheb and Ms. Jagtap Yukta Sachin represented the college with their research posters. Participants shared highly positive feedback, appreciating the platform for meaningful discussions and interactive learning. The Valedictory Session was presided over by Dr. Shrikant Kumar, who also delivered the valedictory address. Certificates were awarded to participants and resource persons, followed by a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by the Organising Secretary. The entire activity was successfully coordinated by Ms. Kakade P. S.
