Teachers’ Day Celebration at YSPM’s YTC Faculty of Pharmacy YSPM’s YTC Faculty of Pharmacy celebrated Teachers’ Day on 4th September 2025 with great enthusiasm in the YCP Seminar Hall, where students gathered to honor their teachers and express gratitude for their invaluable guidance. The program began with Deep Prajwalan and a tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan through lamp lighting and photo worship by Principal Dr. P. D. Jadhav, B. Pharm HOD Dr. A. M. Bhagwat, Dr. A. B. Velhal, and Pharm. D HOD Dr. S. H. Rohane. The dignitaries were warmly welcomed by Ms. Anushka Phadnis and Ms. Simran Momin from T. Y. B. Pharm. As a token of respect, all teachers and staff were felicitated with roses, pens, and bouquets by the Student Council. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jadhav extended his best wishes to the faculty, while Dr. Bhagwat highlighted the life and contributions of Dr. Radhakrishnan. Student representative Ms. Shruti Shinde delivered a heartfelt speech, expressing gratitude towards the teaching fraternity. As part of the program, Gymkhana Members (2025–26) were felicitated. Students also organized engaging games for teachers, creating a joyful atmosphere filled with laughter and camaraderie. The highlight of the day was the Student-Teacher Activity, where nine students conducted lectures for the 3rd, 5th, and 7th semester classes, demonstrating their knowledge and teaching skills. Faculty members evaluated the performances, and the best student-teachers were awarded. Ms. Shradha Sawant (T. Y. B. Pharm. Div. B) secured first place, followed by Ms. Sanika Jadhav (T. Y. B. Pharm. Div. B) and Ms. Priya Jadhav (F. Y. B. Pharm. Div. B). The prizes and certificates were sponsored by alumna Ms. Sucheta Pawar, currently serving as Assistant Professor at the institute. The celebration successfully enhanced students’ pharmacy knowledge, leadership, and communication skills. The event was coordinated by Mrs. D. N. Maske, Cultural In-Charge.
